Win your own battles: Boost Your Immunity!!

Your gut is not las vegas, so what happens in the gut does not stay in the gut!! It is very important for us to keep the soldiers that fight the foreigners intruders strong and active. This can only be ensured by boosting your immunity.

Immunity is the ability of an organism to resist a particular infection or toxin by the action of specific antibodies or sensitized white blood cells. The immune system protects the body against disease or other potentially damaging foreign bodies. When functioning properly, the immune system identifies and attacks a variety of threats, including viruses, bacteria and parasites, while distinguishing them from the body’s own healthy tissue.

It is said that individuals who have a weak immunity are more vulnerable to Corona Virus and all other diseases. Thus, in such times it becomes vital to make alterations in your lifestyle that will help you boost your immunity. Let me give you an insight of what can be done to boost your immunity.

Immunity boosting foods & vitamins.

“You are what you eat so don’t eat fast, cheap, easy or fake.” Some of the foods, if included in your daily lives can boost your immunity and overall health. Foods rich in vitamin C, Zinc , Probiotics, antioxidants and other immunity boosting properties.

Take proper 6-8 hours of sleep.

During sleep, your immune system releases proteins called cytokines, some of which help promote sleep. Certain cytokines need to increase when you have an infection or inflammation, or when you’re under stress. Sleep deprivation may decrease production of these protective cytokines.

Drink 8-10 glasses of water.

Water helps to carry oxygen to your body cells, which results in properly functioning systems. It also works in removing toxins from the body, so drinking more of it could help prevent toxins from building up and having a negative impact on your immune system.

Exercise

Regular physical activity can strengthen your immune system and help your body fight off infections and viruses. Aim for at least 30 minutes of physical activity for three days a week. This can include walking, biking, yoga, swimming, or other low impact workouts

Quit smoking

Quitting smoking improves circulation, increases oxygen levels, and lowers inflammation — all of which give your immune system a boost, so it’s easier to fight off colds and other illnesses.

A good immunity will always be helpful for you, as it will help you win your battles against all the diseases, viruses and infections, and keep you healthy and active throughout your life.
