Dr. G. S. Garg is a distinguished surgical specialist with over 36 years of professional experience, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Malik Radix Healthcare. Since 1995, he has held the esteemed position of Head of the Department of Surgery at Shanti Mukand Hospital, where he oversees a wide array of surgical cases, including minimal access surgeries such as Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy and Appendectomy, as well as complex abdominal, uro-genital, and thoracic surgeries. Dr. Garg is deeply involved in academic endeavors, delivering lectures to DNB students and providing education to nursing and paramedical staff.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Garg served as a Consultant Surgeon at Primus Super Specialties Hospital, Delhi Nursing Home, and Jaipur Golden Hospital, gaining extensive experience in various surgical settings. He completed his post-graduation (M.S. General Surgery) from S.N. Medical College, Agra University, under the mentorship of Prof. V. K. Mittal, a renowned surgeon. Dr. Garg's commitment to professional development is evident through his pursuit of advanced qualifications, including FALS Colorectal, FMAS, and FIAGES.
Apart from his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Garg actively engages in educational and charitable activities. He serves as a teaching faculty for Diplomat of National Board Training Programme and coordinates academic activities at Shanti Mukand Hospital. Additionally, he organizes health camps, delivers public health lectures, and edits the Quarterly News Bulletin of Shanti Mukand Hospital.
